Thank you for all the hard work you have done for my baby girl. We have praised God for all he has given us. We truly believe that you are one of his gifts that we will always cherish. I know that it is your job to do what you do, but never did I feel like (just) another job or case. You made me feel like family. I greatly appreciate you and your hard work.

Carol was a seasoned professional in every interaction with her. She very skillfully and successfully takes on the larger and big reputation family law firms. Carol also knows well the former Judges that serve as mediators and she has the quantitative skills to mastermind the spreadsheets that get used for the settlements. I could not feel better about all of the sound advice and counseling that she provided me through a challenging divorce.

This has allowed me to personally witness Carol during her representation of clients. Carol is extremely passionate about her work. Her passion is evidenced by her thorough case preparation. She always treats clients well; and is compassionate as to their needs. Most importantly, she gets results. Carol is a phenomenal attorney.

I met Carol Wilson several years ago and regularly brainstorm with her on complex legal theories and strategy. Although the subject matter of our practices differ, I've found Carol to be a great resource on trial presentation.
Carol has been a guest speaker two years in a row to my mentee group of high school students from the DISD Law Magnet. She was one of the students' absolute favorites after a presentation in which she made complex issues of family and Constitutional law accessible and relevant. I routinely refer family law cases and questions to Carol.

Good article. This is actually a good reason for borrowers to have counsel review the loan closing documents prior to closing on the refinance. Most borrowers are not represented at all and simply sign what is presented to them at closing. The other issue is that most lenders have a “take it or leave it” attitude. They check their little boxes on the list and are afraid to vary from the list.

I have been Carol's opposing counsel on cases. She is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful at all times. Through the most difficult time in my life, Carol was a strong, knowledgeable, compassionate and steady presence that helped me navigate the many challenges I faced. She was empathetic and caring but also tough, telling me plainly when I had to make difficult choices (and when she thought I was making a mistake). She always returned my emails and phone calls promptly and made me feel like I was a priority. Yes, divorce is very expensive, but I have spoken with people who spent a lot more money then I did and did not get the personal care and attention that I got from Carol. I'm really grateful that she and her team were there for me.

You gave me some very fine advice during my divorce in the area of what to get upset about and fight and what to just let go of. I actually now give similar advice to my clients in employment law. Somewhat like family law, employment can be very emotionally charged. It’s important, as you advised me, to drill down on the important things and to put aside those things that aren’t going to matter at all three weeks after the case is over.

Testimonials

In 1999, I hired Carol to represent me while going through a highly emotional divorce. That was the best decision that I was capable of during that challenging time. I hired Carol once again in 2018 under much happier circumstances to represent my interest in my upcoming marriage. This second time that I hired Carol I was much older, my financial circumstances had become more complex and there was my adult children that required careful consideration.

I had never heard of Carol before I interviewed her. But, I heard her on a radio talk show. I didn't pay too close of attention to the details of the case she was using as an example. But, I clearly remember her describing what she would advise her client to do based on the facts of the situation; and in particular, she said that course of action would be in the best interest of her client, even though it wasn't in her (Carol's) interest, financially speaking.

As a former CPA with an international accounting firm, I'd like to think that I could recognize professional excellence when I see it, and in my case actually experiencing it the two times that I had hired Carol. Carol is a true professional and she will represent her clients with the same extensive experience and compassion the she would use as if she were representing her own interest.
